When you live in Chicago and see someone that stands seven feet tall you would probably expect them to wear a Chicago Bulls uniform not necessarily a chef’s hat and apron. Chef Jeff Goldfarb is a tall drink of water with a colorful, larger than life personality. Chef Jeff is an active role model to children and adults of all ages. Standing at 7 feet tall with a size 20 shoe, a.k.a “The World’s Tallest Chef”™, chose a chef’s uniform over the jersey, my father was a chef, he was my inspiration. Much to the chagrin of the high school basketball coaches I chose to work at KFC instead of playing ball,” I served as a chef to many of the country’s elite personalities. He has cooked at sorority houses and has traveled nationwide to family friendly resorts to teach healthy eating and lifestyle. He has worked for hotels and restaurants. Working at the Chicago Marriott. He worked in Seattle, Alaska and Hawaii. He worked as a chef on Dude ranch where an 800 lbs cow knocked him down and sprained his knee. He has had private dinner auctions on E-bay for as much as $50,000 with proceeds going to various charities. Being socially responsible, volunteering, and giving back to society is very important to me. I volunteer with Meals on Wheels, which provides food and services to the disabled and the elderly; the Chicago public schools teaching elementary school children about healthy eating; Feeding America; the American Diabetes Association; and with Immerman Angels, which provides support for cancer patients.
I recently compiled a children’s cookbook titled Cooking with The World’s Tallest Chef. I am writing a animated feature film screenplay. I have been featured in the award winning plus sized magazine for big and tall men and women, POSE magazine. He was featured as, “The Top 15 Men of Measure”. I obtained a official World Record as The World’s Tallest Chef, from Record Breaker.com.
