How many years have you been cooking, and why don’t you play basketball?
My father is a retired chef from Amtrak, and I choose to become a chef and not play basketball in high school, thus this did not sit very well with my high school coaches. I have been cooking since 1988, for 22 years.
Who inspired your career as a chef?
My father inspired me, Jeff Smith, “The Frugal Gourmet”, Graham Kerr, “The Galloping Gourmet”, Julia Child.
What type of clients do you cook for?
Anyone who is looking for a lavish meal cooked for them in their home or anywhere. Many of my clients are high profile Chicago celebrities.
I am looking to have a family reunion in my home; can you create a custom menu that everyone will enjoy, while being cost effective?
Yes, I will create a menu tailored to your needs; I will also create special diet items upon request. My rates are competitive and reasonable.

BBQ Smoked pork butt topped with Cole slaw, side of collard greens, and a Hurricane.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken? 1st appetizer: Foie Gras, 2nd appetizer: Sauteed Mussels with crusty bread, a bowl of Edamame, 1st course: Lobster with drawn butter, 2nd course: Rack of lamb, and a ice creme sandwich. :-0

I’m a talented, passionate, colorful, charismatic chef. I will entertain you while I’m cooking. My food will make you come back for seconds or need doggy bags.
Is it difficult to get around in cars, planes, or trains?
Yes, it is very difficult to get into cars, my car seat is custom made to be in the backseat so I can fit in my car. Planes and train travel are a nightmare for tall people. Check out my Youtube video, it is humorous.
